Well in typical Oneonta fashion, it's SNOWING. On October 22nd. So not cool! This should make for a very interesting Halloween, none the less a very interesting winter.
This week is going to be jam-packed with work and activities. Today starts parents weekend, kicking off with the annual Cardboard Boatrace (better them than I...paddling across the Hunt pond in the snow in a cardboard boat, doesn't exactly sound like my cup of tea!) The Oneonta campus will be alive with Alumni and parents from all over, and there will be many things to do! Next week also starts the Halloween festivities, including the Order of Omega Halloween Carnival (where Greeks set up booths for kids to participate in activities before they go trick-or-treating) and Halloween in the Halls (which everyone should participate in! The kids are so cute!) Hopefully the kids will have a lot of fun!
On Oct. 31st, Phi Sigma Sigma will be holding their annual Kidney Walk from 11-1:30, and everyone is encouraged to come and participate, and to wear their costumes too!
After Halloween, we will be putting on our fundraiser at the Pub on Nov 4th. Half of the proceeds will go towards the American Liver Foundation, so we'd love for everyone to come out and support the great cause, and have fun doing it!
